The Book Inside the Temple of Knowledge was a projection-mapping installation presented inside Memorial Park Library during the Beakerhead event on September 13, 2017. It was part of the Spectral Illuminations II project with EMMEDIA and Calgary Public Library.
During the event, the relief of an open book located above the library’s main entrance was projected onto the interior wall that mirrors the entrance. The projection imagined the open book coming alive and retelling the story of Memorial Park Library. Photos by Aran Wilkinson-Blanc.
